Success of LU CSE girls in NGPC-2017

When it comes to programming, Leading University’s CSE girls are nothing less than the boys. On 9th May 2017, two team of girls named LU_Dangling_Pointers & LU_Neophyte from CSE department participated in National Girl’s Programming Contest (NGPC) in Daffodil International University. Members of LU_Dangling_Pointers was Anika Tahsin, Ayesha Labiba & Aysha Akter and members of LU_Neophyte was Karimun Nahar Nourin, Tanzila Tahera and Bijoya Banik. They were coached by Tahmid Rahman Laskar, Adjunct Faculty, Dept. of CSE.  LU_Dangling_Pointers finished the contest at 10th position among 117 teams from different universities all over the country. Leading University stood at 8th position in University wise ranking. This team showed the progress and growth of Leading University in national scale. They want to continue their hard work and are dedicated to bring better results in future for Leading University. Honorable State Minister of Post, Telecommunications & Information Technology Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak was chief guest & handed over winning prizes to the participants.

Honorable Vice Chancellor of Leading University Professor Dr. Md. Qumruzzaman Chowdhury & Acting Registrar of LU Professor Dr. S. M. Ali Akkas attend a lunch program with the contest participants and encourages to keep their performance level high in upcoming contests. Md. Asaduzzaman Khan, Assistant Professor & Acting Head of CSE department along with Mr. Arif Ahmad, Mr. Saiful Ambia Chowdhury & Mr. Tahmid Rahman Laskar was also present in that program.
