Leading University launches its own bus tracking mobile application named ‘LU Bird’. It was created by three students of Computer Science and Engineering department named Azharul Islam, Foysol Ahmed and Jannatun Nahar Reya (form 38th Batch). They designed this project under the supervision of Md. Asaduzzaman Khan, Head, Department of CSE and Minhazul Haque Bhuyian, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE.
This app include real time bus tracking which going to solve a problem that the university students facing from many days. Primarily the five buses of the university can be tracked. Student also can check their result with the app, as this application is on experimental beta version others features like notices and community will be implemented slowly. Mr. Foysol (One of the developer) said, “The goal is to make ‘LU Bird’ the single app for all the things of Leading University including semester registration and other features, we welcome anyone who are interested to help us to develop or can share ideas about new features.”
Download APP form HERE and other information are available HERE. This contain google play store button which will directly take you to the LU Bird download site. As it’s still on experimental stage available only for android devices however the developers will soon bring it to app store for iOS devices.
