52nd Syndicate Meeting of Leading University (LU) was held on 22 July 2017 in the Board Room of Permanent Campus of Leading University, Ragibnagar, Sylhet. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of LU and Chairman of the Syndicate Professor Dr. Md. Qumruzzaman Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Syed Abdul Hannan, Chairman of Board of Trustees, LU was present in the meeting as nominated member of Board of Trustees.
Agenda such as approval of decisions of 16th Academic Council Meeting, 10th Finance Committee Meeting, Extension of study leave of Faculty Member, Extension of service of Faculty Member, Officer and Staff, Appointment of Faculty Member, Officer and Staff with the major issues were discussed in this meeting. Professor Dr. A. N.M. Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, Professor Md. Nazrul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Head Department of Business Administration of LU, Professor Dr. S. M. Ali Akkas, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Registrar (Acting), LU and Professor Dr. Abdullah-hel Baqui, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Modern Language, LU and Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, In Charge (Finance & Accounts) were also present in the meeting.
