So far, all the motors were driven either at no load or by conveyor belt connected generator at the machine lab of the department of EEE, Leading University. Addition of electrodynamometer ends it to run motor without loading. Daveed Enterprise Ltd., the only distributor of Festo in Bangladesh, has provided the electrodynamometer, manufactured by Festo Didactic, formerly known as Lab-volt. The mechanical loading can be achieved by varying its stator supply, providing torque ranges up to 3 N-m. It is worthwhile to mention that all the equipment and machineries of machine lab an d switchgear lab have been purchased from Festo (Lab-volt) since the beginning.
