The External Peer Review (EPR) of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Leading University, Sylhet was held on 12-14 May, 2018 under the shade of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Department of EEE obtained 36.5 marks out of 50 and achieved overall judgment “Very Good” on the various categories of Quality measurement aspects of UGC guidance. It is the highest ranking position among all of the Department of Leading University, Sylhet. There were three experts, International Quality Assurance Expert Dr. (Ms) S. J. M. N. G. Samarakoon (Sabaragamuwa University of Srilanka), Subject Expert Professor Dr. S. M. Mostofa Al Mamun (Chairman, Dept. of EEE, University of Dhaka Bangladesh) and National Quality Assurance Expert Mr. Hadaate Ullah (Head, Dept. of EEE and Additional Director IQAC, Southern University, Bangladesh) were present for reviewing the departmental activity. Professor Dr. Habibul Ahsan (Honorable Dean faculty of Modern Science) and Mr. Rezaul Karim (Director IQAC, Leading University) provided relentless support to the team of Department of EEE for accomplishing the entire necessary task. Existing Students, Alumni, Employers, All club advisors and concern non Academic staffs were present and collaborated to Department of EEE. Professor Dr. Qumruzzaman Chowdhury (Honorable Vice Chancellor, Leading University, Sylhet) expressed heartfelt thanks to all of the faculty member, staff, students and all stake holders of department for their hard work and contribution to the quality enhancement activity. He encouraged this department to do more works for further development and make this department as a role model to all.
