Leading University (LU) chalked out a meaty discussion and Dua Mahfil to observe the 40th Death Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Hall Room of Surma Tower Campus on 15 August 2015. The discussants of this nationally significant day brought to light every minute detail putting emphasis on life and works of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor of LU Professor Dr. S. M. Saiful Islam was present as the Chief Guest of the program. Professor Nurul Islam Sarder, Department of English was the Keynote Speaker. Professor Dr. Tofayel Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Registrar (Acting) Engr. Md. Lutfor Rahaman, Asst. Prof. of Dept. of English Md. Rezaul Karim, Deputy Controller of Examinations M. Sarwar Hossain, Asst. Officer of Registrar Office Mr. Jalal Uddin delivered their valuable and informative speech regarding the life, works, independence of Bangladesh and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Senior Lecturer Md. Fazle Elahi Mamun prayed to Almighty Allah for the departed soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Mr. Md. Asaduzzaman Khan, Head (Acting), Dept. of CSE, Mohammad Ibrahim, In- Charge Finance and Accounts and other officials, staff and students of LU were present at the program. The program was addressed by Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, Public Relations Officer of LU.
