16th Academic Council Meeting of Leading University (LU) was held on 21 July 2017 in the Board Room of Permanent Campus of Leading University, Ragibnagar, Sylhet. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of LU Professor Dr. Md. Qumruzzaman Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Syed Abdul Hannan, Chairman of Board of Trustees, LU was present in the meeting as nominated member of Board of Trustees.
Agenda such as approval of Results of Graduating students of Fall-2016 to Spring 2017 semester, Placement of Draft Proposal and Ordinance of Centre for Modern and Indigenous Languages at LU, Placement of a few Templates, Guidelines and Concept Notes developed in accordance with QA practices and QUA guidelines of the University Grants Commission with the major issues were discussed in this meeting.
Professor Dr. A. N.M. Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University, Professor Md. Nazrul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Head Department of Business Administration of LU, Professor Dr. S. M. Ali Akkas, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Registrar (Acting), LU, Professor Dr. Abdullah-hel Baqui, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Modern Language, LU all Head of the Departments, Advisor, Director of IQAC and Controller of Examinations were present at the meeting.
