Biography

Md. Shamimul Islam, Assistant Professor of HRM in the Department of Business Administration, Leading University, Sylhet was born in Burichang under the Cumilla district. Currently, he is working as a Ph.D. Research Fellow in the Department of Business Administration, Shahajalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet. He did his BBA (Management) and MBA (HRM) from the University of Chittagong. He has published a number of research articles and presented papers at international conferences. His current research interest is focused on Leadership and innovation, HRD, HRM, Performance Management, Training, and Development.

Academic Qualifications:
Ph.D. (Research Fellow), Shahajalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet.
MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM) and BBA in Management from the University of Chittagong.
