The Self-Assessment Committee (SAC) of the Department of English organized a daylong workshop on ‘Sharing the Survey Results and Question Papers Analysis’ on 17.05.2017 (Wednesday) from 12 pm to 8 pm in the Hall Room (6th Floor) of Surma Tower Campus of Leading University.
Honourable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Qumruzzzaman Chowdhury was present in the workshop as the Chief Guest and one of the resource persons. Among two other resource persons were Professor Md. Ahmed Kabir Chowdhury of the Department of Statistics, SUST and Md. Rezaul Karim, Director, IQAC, LU. The two resource persons delivered separate presentations on the survey results of different stakeholders and on questions papers analysis as per Bloom’s taxonomy respectively. Among others were present Professor Dr. S M Ali Akkas, Registrar (Acting) and Dean, Faculty of Social Science, and Professor Dr. Gazi Abdulla-hel Baqui, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Modern Language.
All the faculty members of the Department of English participated in the daylong workshop along with the SAC members Muhammad Nazrul Islam, Mrs. Rumpa Sharmin, Mrs. Manfath Jabin Haque. In the last session of the workshop, the faculty members analyzed the question papers of different semesters of the department as per Bloom’s taxonomy. The workshop was chaired by the Head of the Self-Assessment Committee (SAC) of the Department of English Muhammad Nazrul Islam and anchored by Mrs. Rumpa Sharmin, one of the SAC members.
