‘Team Gladiator: Leading University’ has become the champion in a robotics competition in ‘Mecceleration 2017’ powered by BBS cables. They have participated in ‘Robo Riot’, a category in robotics competition, organized by the Mechanical and Chemical Engineering Department of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) on October 6, 2017. The team consists of four members – Abu Bakar Siddik (EEE), Imtiaz Ahmed Probal (EEE), Fahim Ahmed Hamim (EEE) and Omar Faruk Abid (CSE).
‘Team Gladiator: Leading University’ became champion defeating the team ‘NSU Hau Mau’ from North South University (NSU). Total 30 teams have participated from different universities, such as – North South University, Brac university, United International University, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Metropolitan University, United International University, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Islamic University of Technology, etc.
